Parish Funding earns commissions for the purchases you make. If you mouseover on an ad, you will see the commissions we earn. We have a flat donation rate of 80% of commission on all donations.

Some companies offer performance incentives, which means our commissions increase with more sales. We still donate 80% of this higher commission. Some sites offer lower or no commissions on selected goods, in which case we will post the sale and show that no commission was earned. This is rarely the case, however, so most donations will be 80% of the commission percentage we post.

Parish Funding will send checks to the organizations on a quarterly basis. Based on particiaption levels and our costs (checks and postage), this appears to make sense both for us and for the organizations. The sites have a running tally of purchases and donations, so you have the ability to see the amounts that we use to determine our payments.
